Nine streets (de negen straatjes), specialty shops

Just around the corner of our B&B you will find De 9 Straatjes (The 9 Streets), named after the nine side streets connecting the main canals. Together they constitute a charming neighbourhood full of unique shops, wonderful places to have lunch and a great atmosphere.

Kalverstraat, busy shopping street.

The Kalverstraat is one of the busiest shopping streets with a variety of , mostly, mainstream shops.
Starting at the damsquare you walk southwards all the way to the famous flowermarket. There you will also find the shoppingcentre De Kalvertoren

Fun contemporary sneakerstore at the Rozengracht 21, just a few minutes from our B&B, with an up to date collection of sneakers

Fratelli Ice

When we feel we deserve a little treat, we go to Fratelli Ice on Spuistraat 124. They make their own fresh Icecream, with fresh fruits and without any artificial flavours. In the winter they serve soups, pasta's and sandwiches
